Leighton Buzzard is very lucky to host one of the country’s leading vintage steam train railways. I took my nieces and nephews recently and they absolutely loved it.

It’s such a privilege to be invited into people’s lives for a short while to document their family magic, and one of the best things about the job is when they ask me to come back. I have been photographing Jo and Adam and their two boys for a few years now, and so I was super excited when Jo suggested a shoot in the beautiful countryside around where they live in Ley Hill.

Last weekend my sister-in-law and I took my nieces and nephews to Whipsnade Zoo. Even though I grew up in the area I don’t think I had been to the Zoo for about 30 years, and had forgotten how nice and - at 600 acres - just how huge the site is.

Photos of our kids are some of our most precious possessions. However, capturing those beautiful shots that bring out their character and personality, and those fab expressions that change all-too-quickly, can be really tricky.

It was such a privilege to photograph this wonderful christening a few weeks ago, at the Roman Catholic Church of our Lady in West Hampstead.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of spending the day with some close friends in Cambridge. It was Grandfather’s 80th birthday and they had booked me to provide a record of their family day together, relaxing at home with the children and the dogs.

With the Easter holidays still in full swing we are all on the lookout for fun stuff to do with the kids. We are spoilt for choice when it comes to outdoor activities in Leighton Buzzard, including the wonderful Stockgrove and Rushmere Parks. But sometimes it’s fun to go a little further afield, and Aston Clinton Park is a really great option. I’ve already made three trips there this week…

As the rain trickles down my window outside, I have to say I am hankering after a bit of dry, warm weather! Now it’s March we can properly start looking forward to spring…

Last weekend I had the pleasure of a photoshoot with some old friends in the beautiful countryside near Redhill, Surrey.

I am very lucky to have four beautiful - and very energetic - nieces and nephews. I have spent the last two weekends with them putting me through my paces at our local parks.

It was such a delight to meet this family back in November. Their ask was simple: a record of a normal Saturday morning together…
